Good:Has virtually all of Chopin's solo piano worksSpiral-bound, so it sits flatClear print, high quality paperNot-so-good:Its very very big. 728 pages big. If you are playing something near the beginning or near the end of the book (so that much of the book is is on one side) it may not sit on your piano music stand. May have been better to split it into 2 or more volumes.

What's sad is that it has almost all of the pieces by chopin, but fantasie impromptu is not in it. It is one of the most played pieces by chopin and this book doesn't have it.

This huge book contains all Chopin's Ballads, études, preludes, Mazurkas, Waltzs, but definitely not the entire Chopin's music. For his 31 years of age, Chopin was one of the busiest composers of his time. His musics are very challenging, so if you like challenging yourself with difficult pieces while entertaining classical piano lovers, this book is for you.As many reviewers already stated, it may be challenging to keep it open on your piano rest, especially the first few and last few pages.

Big, cumbersome, but everything is there and when you turn the page the book stays open and in place. Hurrah! Also contains music not found in other smaller books of Chopin. I also appreciate the fingering and other notations incorporated in the printed page, it makes sight reading more difficult passages so much easier.

I wish the biniding on the book was much stronger. I don't know what to use to hold all of the pages together. The only thing I can think of is splitting the sections into different binders. The music is beautiful and it is really printed nicely. It is easy to read, and the notes are not too small.

Bought this for my grandson. He was SO HAPPY!!! He loves playing Chopin and this is the ultimate edition of the music for piano, and well knows - Schirmer just continues on with the best music available. SO glad this is still in print.

I absolutely love this book and have been diving in and out of it ever since I've acquired it. I definitely recommend it for those who are advanced or are coming from an intermediate to advanced level of playing.

Great collection. I've loved Chopin so much and being able to play his music is a dream come true. The pages are neatly printed, everything is clearly labeled, and the book is sturdy. The only *minor* complaint I have is that playing a piece from the front or back of the book can be tricky due to the weight imbalance; but this is a very minor inconvenience and does not effect the quality.

He writes with the experience of a student who has spent many years in both camps and the charity of a mature Christian who desires that the dialogue between dispensationalists and covenant theologians would be mutually edifying, free from misrepresentation, and above all driven back to a search of the Scriptures.Indeed, greatest strength of this book is that it serves as an introduction to how to study the Bible, letting Scripture interpret Scripture. And herein is the crux of the difference between dispensationalists and Reformed Christians: hermeneutics. While some Christians will surely disagree with Rob’s covenantal convictions, they will be thankful for this grand tour through the history of salvation revealed in God’s Word.

I really think there are better works than this for comparing the two systems. Plus, Wellum's Progressive Covenantalism isn't even mentioned? How could the book/view on this topic not even be addressed? This debate is hard to simplify, and I think it best not to read comparisons but the actual people's works and see how they handle passages. I wanted to like this book, I really did, but I don't really recommend it. If you want to understand a dispensationalist, then read his work or commentaries. Also, Ben Merkle will be releasing a book entitled "Understanding Theological Systems" next year that will cover the 6 major systems. 3 for Dispensationalism and 3 for Covenantalism. I happen to have an early copy and recommend it form Merkle who holds a PhD from Southern Baptist Seminary. It is also simpler to read.

I heard about this book while listening to a podcast and immediately knew it would be a beneficial read. Robert takes time to carefully examine the more popular points of tension between Dispensational and Covenant theology.I am currently using this as a guide to expand my current understanding of both theological systems. I often find myself reading a few pages then doing independent study to further understand the point being discussed.This would be a great book for a small group to go through or even in a Sunday school setting.

I appreciated the author's careful handling of the differences between the Covenant and Dispensational camps. I have dear Brothers, whom I admire, who hold varied positions. All of us seek to understand one another and appeal to scripture to support our viewpoints. There are times when it is easy to talk over one another and fail to understand one another's arguments.This book has been helpful in providing insight to viewpoints held by some of my Brothers and gives me a better understanding of their foundational positions. I also find that it will enable me to be more concise as I attempt to articulate my own position.Whether you are Covenantal or Dispensational, I highly recommend this book. It is an excellent resource for conversation, understanding, and to help Brothers understand one another.

A very detailed and insightful comparison of the two theological systems. As someone coming out of dispensationalism into Covenant Theology, this book had me writing all kinds of notes and questions in the margins of my copy! This is a tough subject to discuss in an apples to apples format, so Mr McKenzie's approach is very helpful.

I paid for this book. I was hoping to be engaged in a thought provoking read. I too wanted to like this book. I didn’t. Right from the start, I’m presented with straw-men arguments. Most of the dispensational authors have been long dead and gone so we’re not going to get any corrective responses there. I’m more saddened by this than encouraged.

Love the planner however the month calendar for January is half missing. The weekly pages are there just a small bummer about the calendar page.

Nice. Much bigger than I'd have likes with more pages than I will use but still a nice calendar book.

Beautiful planner and I love the quality but it's missing a page and I have noticed a few typos.

I love this! Simple, with no useless features or stickers to up the price and create more waste. Just open spaces to write whatever you need. A little bit of a bummer that there is less room for Sat and Sun than the weekdays, but I'll still be ordering another for 2019.

Actually turned out to be a great purchase. Only complaint is that it’s not hard cover. Love the quotes for every month. Exactly as described. Quick shipping and excellent price!

This is a nice, cheap planner, but you get what you pay for. No decoration on the inside whatsoever. It also does not list the days of the week, just the day of the month. I do like the checklists on the side, and the overall largeness. All in all has been functional, but I would not purchase again.

When I initially ordered it I was thinking it would be smaller, around 5X7. My fault, should have looked closer. However, I love it! The design is nice and there's plenty of room to write my schedule down.

Nice planner. Good cover, light weight, well organized. They definitely took some license with the inspirational quotes. As far as I can tell, they were all attributed to the right person, but one of the quotes is from an Emerson poem, in which they decided for some reason to cut off the poem in the middle of the word. The quote makes sense, but it also would have made sense if they had included the entire second line. Also there’s a typo in the Dalai Lama quote. Neither of these ruin the planner for me, as the quotes are of peripheral importance at best. and I look forward to the new year and getting to use my new planner!!
